Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Rob joined Summit Brokerage Services as the executive vice president and chief marketing officer in April 2013 and brings over 20 plus years of experience in the independent broker-dealer and financial services industry.
As Summit Financial Networks’ chief marketing officer, Rob is responsible for building the Summit brand and stimulating growth through communications and outreach to advisors, associates and partners. He leads many marketing-based functions, including business development marketing, brand management and expansion, marketing communications, public relations, advertising, content development and building and implementing Summit’s events and conferences. He oversees the product and services team, bringing asset management solutions and product consultations to Summit’s advisors. He heads the practice management team, which delivers consultative support to facilitate independent advisors’ starting, building, and growing their firms. Additionally, Rob oversees Summit’s Business Development and Recruiting operations by focusing on the inorganic growth side of the business through recruiting new offices, facilitating the purchase or sell of advisor books of business, and adding new advisors to existing Summit offices.
Prior to joining Summit, Rob served in a similar capacity with ProEquities Inc., an independent broker-dealer out of Birmingham, Alabama, for over 10 years. Rob graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received his MBA from Samford’s Brock School of Business.
Rob holds the following Finra licenses: 7, 24, 63, and 66.
Outside of the office, Rob spends most of his time with his wife and three kids who have “speed for days” and enjoys traveling with his wife, trying out new beers and wines, and enjoying the Florida sunshine.
